MILLE

Borgo Santa Brigida – Parma

Mille, stage name of Elisa Pucci, is a singer-songwriter and theatre actress with a penchant for vintage style.

She grew up listening to the female voices of Italian tradition and admiring Raffaella Carrà, she presents herself with red curls and high-waisted jeans, bringing together musical worlds and generations that are seemingly distant from each other.

In 1992, she took part in the Zecchino d’Oro children’s song contest, signing up, as she herself recounts, by forging her father’s signature.

Determined and enterprising since childhood, she has clear ideas and a constant focus on music.

She founded several bands and reached the final of X Factor in 2015 with Moseek.

She subsequently abandoned English and started singing in Italian devoting herself to a solo career under the stage name she currently uses.

This linguistic shift, driven by a growing desire to express herself, allows her to communicate much more directly.

In her songs, she talks about emancipation, relationships, sexuality and what it means to be a woman today.

Mille has the voice of a diva from another era, an ironic writing style that is also capable of moving the listener, and a strong, recognisable image.

Two singles released in May (Il Tempo, Le Febbri, La Sete and C’est Fantastique) precede the album Risorgimento, announced for this autumn.
